A new addition to the Zildjian A Family, the A Avedis range recreate the timeless sound and feel of the top hits from the 30's through to the 60's. Remastered for a new generation of players, the series is names in honour of Avedis Zildjian III, the father of the modern American cymbal.
The recreation of the vintage A sound delivers immense musicality and offers a great balance of bright and dark overtones. A thin top cymbal combined with a medium weight bottom cymbal provides a loose, played-in feel and a prominent chick sound. To give the cymbals that vintage warm tone, they have a Patina finish, a low mid pitch and a medium thin weight.
