The Vic Firth T4 American Custom Timpani mallets are the hardest of the felt range. They produce a clear, rhythmic projection. The mallet is manufactured by turning a single piece of rock maple. The single piece construction eliminates a core that can vibrate, and the need for a screw to secure the head.
