The Vater VWTHW Wiretap Heavy Brushes are fully retractable and feature a heavier gauge of wire which offers a fuller sound with more volume than standard gauge wire. The Wiretap series of brushes feature a unique hard tap surface behind the brush-spread which helps prevent excessive wear on the brushes and the drum heads. It also allows for a more solid sound when striking the drum.
