Condition: Excellent. The sleek surface of these drum machines marks quite easily and this one is unfortunately no exception. The screen is clean and un-marked and all the buttons work perfectly. Original PSU and manual included. No original box but a hard shell carry case is included.

The Roland R-8 from 1989 is a highly regarded and much loved drum machine with excellent sounds which can be expanded with additional sound cards. Out of the box you get a great selection of sounds covering a vast range of genres and most of these are editable to fine tune them to your productions. The R-8 has 8 additional outputs as well as a stereo main out and a headphone socket.

The R-8 offers 32 voice polyphony, 32 preset patterns and 100 user patterns and 10 songs. The best part of this machine though is the “Human Feel” which introduces grooves and playing techniques that humanise the patches, giving the feel of a real drummer.
