Lionheart represents everything Laney has learned through over forty years of Laney tube heritage, distilled into a single amplifier range. Lionheart amplifiers are designed to provide the ultimate in British made, boutique tone. The combination of EL84 loaded single ended Class A power stages and premium Celestion and Jensen speakers put this family of amplifiers a class apart from the rest.

Retro Tone
The L20T-112 kicks out 20 watts RMS of Class A parallel single ended tone generated by the EL84 loaded output section giving you masses of vintage valve tone in a compact stylish package. It's snappy vintage style and Class-A sounds means you can't wait to dive in and see what's behind this smart facade.

The L20T-112 features a smart, chrome finished control panel which houses the simple pre-amp featuring a twin channel layout with independent volume for each channel, passive three band EQ, global tone and reverb.

The combination of EL84 loaded single-ended Class-A power stages and premium Celestion speakers really catapults this amplifier into an altogether different league. No more fixation on pre-amp distortion – with the L20T-112 you can hear the 'real' sound of a valve amplifier output stage clipping. The dynamic range of the Lionheart amplifiers expands to fill a much bigger space than you'd ever expect from such low wattage units.

Pushed really hard, the sonic punch and clarity of the Celestion G12H loaded L20T-112 is truly excellent and it's when the amps are being used like this that you can really hear the differences in this speaker compliment.

Vintage Or Modern
Lionhearts can sound either vintage or modern depending on how you use the pre-amp controls – back off the gain, wind up the master and you're cooking up serious retro tone. Digging in hard produces extra bite, or backing off cleans it all up.

Conversely, wind the drive up and you have gain aplenty, giving you all the harmonic squeals and overtones you'd expect from a modern high-gain amplifier.

The L20T-112 offers serious tone that is often difficult to find in amplifiers costing twice the price Features such as gold plated PCB's and jack sockets, sealed gold contact relays are used in all signal paths for minimum sound coloration, and each amplifier comes fitted with the renowned 'Type 4' large spring line reverb for the classic guitar reverb sound. Each Lionheart L20T-112 features a hand stamped 'build number' in the order they come off the Laney production line, and comes with a custom made 'Lionheart' dust cover.
