The Istanbul Special Edition Series cymbals are designed to capture the desirable qualities of the two most sought after Jazz cymbals, the Mel Lewis and the Agop series.
Combining a unique vintage lathing pattern on the top with a very light, Agop style lathing on the underside produces dark and complex overtones with a smoother high end and woody stick definition.
The sound of the Special Edition 19 Inch Ride is open and smooth with a full bodied response. It offers a controlled spread with nice bell definition.
